Day 4 - Schaffhausen

After visiting the Rhine Falls, we made our way over to Schaffhausen, the capital of the northernmost Swiss canton (state). The city center dates back to medieval times. It is hilly and cobblestoned and filled with buildings with beautiful facades. We were admiring one such facade which was red and had ornate window carvings and frescoes painted on the outside only to look at the next bit of building and see a McDonalds. Incredible.

This fountain in the city center dates back to medieval times.

Therese liked this fountain which was a bit more modern (dating back to 2007:)).

Reese fell asleep playing on my bed. After this nap, she ate the most I've ever seen her eat. She must have had too much fun today!
